The Monarch 8-32x50ED scope starts with an impressive power range and massive ocular lenses with ED glass, helping deliver a huge, exceptionally bright, high-resolution picture. The scope also includes a specially calibrated Fine Crosshair with Dot reticle that maximizes the scope's long-range magnification and clarity.

Nothing boosts a shooter's level of confidence better than generous, constant eye relief, which is why the Monarch's eye relief measures 4 inches. No more rough kickback from heavy recoiling cartridges, lightweight rifles, severe shooting angles, and just plain excitement. Nikon also included its Ultra ClearCoat (UCC) optical system, which is engineered to provide the shooter with a bright, sharp, incredibly flat sight picture and light transmission up to 95 percent of the theoretical maximum. And hunters will appreciate the Monarch's interchangeable turret technology. All 1-inch tube Monarchs can be customized with accessory target-style windage and elevation adjustment knobs and caps.

Other features include an easy-to-reach side-focus parallax dial; a smooth zoom control with magnification reference numbers viewable from the shooter's position; a nitrogen-filled, O-ring-sealed housing that's waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof; and support for an optional sunshade accessory for bright, rainy, or dusty conditions.
